The Conception of the name:
The idea of this name came up in my mind after i had watched the movie The Matrix quite a few times. I was fascinated by its ideology and how the philosophy develops. The idea of illusion and how humans are slaves of this earthly environment, and how we are bound by forces of nature.
In the Movie, there was a character Mouse, who was a programmer and had programmed “The woman in red” and the matrix simulation programs. According to thematrix101.com, Mouse is defined as below:
Mouse: A member of Morpheus’ crew, Mouse is the ‘digital pimp’ responsible for programming the woman in red – he offers private visits with her as well.
Matrix [UPDATED] in the dictionary refers to “a situation or surrounding substance within which something else originates, develops, or is contained. The womb.” Additionally, the concept of the Matrix as an illusion or a ‘construct’ that humans are unaware of resembles the idea of Samsara in Buddhism and Hinduism. Samsara teaches that the world we consider ‘real’ is actually a projection of our own desires. From Morpheus Neo learns that how he’d perceived himself in the Matrix was simply a “the mental projection of your digital self.” The “real” sensory world “is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.”
Having said that, i find a personal attachment with this handle. I feel like i am like a computer mouse who is plugged into a virtual reality. Moreover, i m a mouse who likes to keep a low profile and always on hide. I love to argue, and i believe a mouse will love to argue too.
Some famous mice are Mickey Mouse, Master Splinter(Ninja Turtles), and Stewart Little.
